- Kaiser Permanente, The Permanente Medical Group TPMG, Oakland CA- Served on California and National Provider Network Expansion Services Team.
- Physicians Healthcare, San Diego, CA – Developed Managed Care Contracting diversification strategies for 50 solo Specialty Physicians.
- Sutter Health System, Sacramento, CA – Created fiscal solvency model to support program launch for Family Practice Residency Training Program.
- Glendale Adventist Medical Center Family Residency Training Program, Glendale, CA. Provided fiscal solvency model to support program expansion to 24 residents.
- Sierra Primary Care Associates, Lancaster, CA – Secured first full risk Managed Care Contracts.
- Ana Verde Medical Center, Palmdale, CA – Established hospital affiliation with PHMC.
Federal
- Secured a Federal PHS – Public Health Service grant for a $500,000 academic program grant for Glendale Adventist Medical Center’s Family Practice Residency Program.
- Authored a successful CMS – Centers for Medicare Service application to launch an ACO – Accountable Care Organization that saved CMS $8 Million in its first year of operation here in San Diego.
State of California
- Successfully secured state AHEC – Area Health Education Center grant funding for a UCLA Family Practice Residency Program.
Local Government and Non-profits
- Conducted a comprehensive demographic needs analysis to document unmet needs of isolated victims located in the high desert area. Led a community advocacy group to fund a rural area domestic violence shelter. Strategically leveraged relationships at Antelope Valley Health Planning Council to secure start-up funding from the Los Angeles Board of Supervisor to fund the AV Domestic Violence Shelter Program.
- Collaborated with local San Diego-based community health nonprofits to coordinate health resources for free screening health prevention services in San Diego’s underserved region.
